LIRDirect.com ("we," "us") connects travelers arriving at Liberia (LIR) Airport directly with independent, licensed local drivers in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how it's used.

Information We Collect

You can reach us in two ways: by filling out the quote request form on this website, or by messaging us directly on WhatsApp.

If you use the form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and trip details (pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates, number of passengers, and any notes you add — e.g. flight information, luggage, or special requests). If you message us on WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you send us there — typically your name and number as shown in WhatsApp, plus the same kind of trip details.

How We Use It

We use this information only to quote, arrange, and coordinate your private shuttle — including sharing your pickup details with the driver assigned to your ride. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties beyond what's needed to deliver your request to us and complete your transfer, as described below.

WhatsApp, Google & Other Third-Party Services

Conversations happen on WhatsApp, a messaging service operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy, which we don't control.

If you use the quote request form, your submission is delivered to us using Google's infrastructure (Gmail), which is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. We use this only to receive your request and reply to you directly by email.

Cookies & Tracking

This website uses Google Ads conversion tracking (Google tag / gtag.js) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may set cookies and share limited technical information, such as your browser and approximate location, with Google. We do not use this to identify you personally, and we don't run any other analytics or advertising trackers beyond this. You can control ad-related cookies through your browser settings or Google's Ads Settings.

Payments

We do not collect or store payment information through this website. Rides are paid directly to your driver on arrival — cash in CAD, USD, or CRC, or credit/debit card in USD only.

Data Retention

We keep booking-related messages and quote requests only as long as needed to arrange your transfer and for basic record-keeping afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or replying to any email from us.

Your Rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time — just send us a message on WhatsApp or reply to any email from us.

Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors beyond what a parent or guardian shares with us as part of arranging travel for their family.
